Eva Marcille Says Janice Dickinson Suggested She Get Her ‘Nose Fixed’ With Money From ‘ANTM’ Win
Eva Marcille is sharing some of the unsolicited advice she received from “America’s Next Top Model” judge Janice Dickinson.
Despite taking home the crown during the third season of the reality show in 2004, the former “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star, 36, revealed Dickinson told her to fix her nose with her earnings from winning the show.

“When I won ‘Top Model’, the first thing I was told was — outside of Tyra’s [Banks] ‘congratulations’ — Janice Dickinson said, ‘Now you can take your money and go get your nose fixed,'” Marcille told her “The Undressing Room” podcast co-hosts Lore’l and Dominique Da Diva. “Um… I didn’t know my nose was broke. It’s working.”
She added, “My point is people always have something to say, especially when you are in the light, they have something to say about your aesthetics, good or bad. There’s always something that someone’s going to have to say about you.”
But 17 years after her win, Marcille says she’s learned to brush off comments like that.

“So the question is,” she said. “At what point do you stop listening to the world and start listening to yourself?”
ET Canada has reached out to Dickinson’s rep for comment.
Eva traded in her mini skirts and crop tops from her ANTM days and adopted a boho-chic lifestyle that compliments her motherhood style. “I have had three kids. I have been postpartum three times. Your body changes and it shifts.”
So she goes with the flow, literally: “There’s something about flowy boho clothes that make you feel beautiful, no matter what you’re doing, you could be bloated or you could be snatched under there, but your beauty isn’t in your size, it’s in your flow.”
After having her second child, Eva reveals she didn’t immediately go back to her “model weight.” “I was fluffier and I was heavier and I was happy as hell. Nothing changed with my happiness.”
She adds, eva on americas next top model don’t like eva on americas next top model word snapback because I think we give people this idea that if you don’t go back to a size that you were previously … there’s something wrong or you didn’t do something right.”
“Snapping back” after her second pregnancy was the furthest thing from Eva’s eva on americas next top model. She was caring for a newborn with jaundice after suffering blood loss while giving birth.
“He was in the hospital for quite some time. I hemorrhaged after having him. So I had a lot of blood loss. I had gotten into a really bad car accident. So the fact that I am even here and healthy and my baby is to my weight and getting it to any ideal number was the last thing I worried about.”
Loving The Skin You’re In
As a natural beauty, Eva has always leaned into her buttery smooth skin, frequently photographing sans makeup when she’s not on set or shooting. The former Cover Girl keeps it easy and breezy, professing, “When it comes to makeup now, after having kids and living in the hot south, I like to promote natural beauty only because I feel sometimes women think it’s not an option.”
She’s not anti-glam but rather pro the everyday woman, “I want my sisters who live in rural towns, that work regular jobs, that have no reason to put that on, to know that they are just as beautiful too.” Marcille’s Instagram stories feature her life in the industry but also everyday occurrences.
“I eva on americas next top model want eva on americas next top model portray an image of perfection because it’s not real,” she says. “Perfection is unreal and unattainable but confidence is all about you. I wanna encourage my sisters and brothers to be the best version of yourself. You are beautiful exactly how you are and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”

While a lot of the criticism of America’s Next Top Model has fallen at Tyra Banks‘s feet, from the elaborate challenges to the sometimes harsh critiques of the contestants’ looks, there was problematic behavior displayed by a number of cast members.
On the latest episode of Eva Marcille’s podcast The Undressing Room with Lore’l and Dominique Da Diva, presented by Macy’s, Eva shared that she got some less than kind and useful advice after she won America’s Next Top Model in Cycle three back in 2004.
“When I won Top Model, the first thing I was told outside of Tyra [Banks] ‘Congratulations,’ Janice Dickinson said, ‘Now you can take your money and get your nose fixed,'” she said. “I didn’t know my nose was broke. I didn’t know there was anything wrong with it.”

The topic came up when the women were discussing rapper Lil Kim, who was recently honored by our sister site HelloBeautiful for being a true style icon. Lore’l brought up her sadness that Kim, whom she said was always beautiful, clearly chose to get a great deal of plastic surgery. Eva said that happens because the industry is full of “naysayers,” like Dickinson, who clearly is a fan of plastic surgery. For the record though, Eva didn’t get any work done on her nose following that advice.
“This is the same nose, same big lips, same everything,” she said. “But my point is, people always have something to say, especially when you’re in the light. There’s always something that someone’s going to have to say about you. The question is, at what point do you stop listening to the world and start listening to yourself?”
Though stunning, Eva is not new to criticism aimed at her natural looks. During the reunion for Season 12 of Real Housewives of Atlanta, her final season on the reality show, her breasts were publicly criticized by Porsha Williams. The comments left her co-star trending. Nevertheless, Eva, a mother of three, still has the same look because as the star put it, someone’s always going to have something to say.

Eva Marcille Said Janice Dickinson Told Her To Get A Nose Job When She Won America’s Next Top Model
former Bravolebrity Eva Marcille truly brought very little to three seasons she spent on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she could turn a look that periodically reminded everyone she is an America’s Next Top Model winner after all.
But Eva recently revealed her win wasn’t quite the happy celebration you’d expect. Particularly, when she was totally shaded by the judges immediately after getting the crown.
The Jasmine BRAND reported that the judges did not think Eva had top-model looks, even after she was crowned ANTM winner in the third cycle of the show.
Apparently, Tyra Banks did congratulate her on the win, but that was about the extent of the positive remarks.
“Janice Dickinson said, ‘Now you can take your money and get your nose fixed,” the RHOA star mentioned on her podcast The Undressing Room.

Eva revealed that she didn’t know there was anything wrong with her nose at all. “I didn’t know my nose was broke,” she said. “But my point is, people always have something to say, especially when you’re in the light.”
Despite the “advice,” Eva said she never fixed her nose and kept her looks the same. Eva continued, “The question is: at what point do you stop listening to the world and start listening to yourself?”

While Eva might not have a future on reality TV, she could be a pretty good inspirational speaker, a la Joe Gorga style.
It seems like she almost had a shot to be back on Bravo, considering she was one of Cynthia Bailey‘s bridesmaids (alongside Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore) in her wedding to Mike Hilllast summer. However, due to Cynthia’s poor planning, her lame excuse for a storyline failed as the event couldn’t even be filmed due to COVID-19. You can try to pretend that you’re above everyone. But, there are just some things, like a deadly global pandemic, that will undoubtedly affect everyone at some point.

For now, it looks like the most of Eva we’ll get is through her podcast. And, maybe it’s best that way.
