t mobile app update

Paying an extra $10 a month to go from 3 GB of data to unlimited data is like paying an extra dollar to upgrade your personal-size pizza to the kind of pizza. T-Mobile will make Google Messages its default messaging app for T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert pitched the changes as a “big upgrade,”. If you're trying to learn how to update apps in the Google or Galaxy app You don't have to worry about keeping track of updates for every single app on.

T mobile app update -

unfortunately t mobile has stopped

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you would know that apps tend to ease things up. Similarly, people can use their network apps for accessing mobile plans. With this being said, T-Mobile has designed its app for users who need to maintain their accounts through the smartphone. However, some users are struggling with the “Unfortunately, T-Mobile has stopped” error. So, let’s see the troubleshooting methods!

Unfortunately, T-Mobile Has Stopped

1) Reinstall

If you are a T-Mobile app user and the app has stopped working for you, we suggest that you delete the app. In addition, once you delete the app, reinstall it after some time, and it will probably fix the issue. Also, before you delete the app, we suggest that you clear the data and cache from the app because it helps get rid of excessive data that might be congesting the app.

2) Operating System

This is purely based on consumer experiences. So, if you are using the T-Mobile app on your Android phone, it is highly likely to create issues for you. With this being said, if you have the iPhone on hand, we suggest that you download the T-Mobile app on your iPhone, and it will probably work properly.

3) Easy Mode

When it comes down to the Android phone, the easy mode allows the users to choose the apps that can appear on the home screen in huge icons. However, the T-Mobile app doesn’t work properly when you’ve switched on the easy mode on your Android phone. With this being said, we suggest that you switch off the easy mode, and the app will start working optimally.

4) Force Close

Some users are unable to delete the T-Mobile app from their phone because the uninstall buttons become grey. Consequently, we suggest that you tap on the force close button, and it is highly likely to solve the issue. For this purpose, open the settings, go to apps, scroll down to T-Mobile, and press the force close button. Once you force close the T-Mobile app, restart your phone, and the error will be sorted.

5) Data Usage

Some people struggle with the app stopping issue because they have switched on the background data usage. So, if you have switched on the background data usage, we suggest that you switch off the background data usage settings. That’s to say, because this setting will limit the data consumption on the app, hence leading to strange errors.

6) Update

If you are receiving errors on the app or if the app is not working, there are chances of bugs in the app. However, these bugs can be easily fixed through app updates. With this being said, you should check for the T-Mobile app update from the Google Play Store or App Store. If there is an update available, we suggest that you install the update, and it’ll probably fix the error.

The bottom line is that this error can be easily fixed, and there is nothing to worry about. However, suppose the troubleshooting methods don’t work. In that case, we suggest that you call T-Mobile and ask if there is a technical glitch at the backend.

T-Mobile is the second largest wireless provider in the United States with over 98 million customers and the only nationwide 5G network. T-Mobile wants to manage costs but also accelerate application development with services enabling users to create their own solutions to business challenges. To this end, T-Mobile has been using Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, and Microsoft Power BI to address business needs. Now, T-Mobile is excited to leverage the next wave of Microsoft Power Platform enhancements that were announced at Microsoft Ignite and our Microsoft Business Applications Virtual Launch event:

  • Rapid app development with deeper integration between Microsoft Teams and Power Apps
  • Better collaboration between pro and citizen developers with deeper integration between Microsoft Azure and Power Platform
  • Expanded automation capabilities with the new Microsoft Power Automate Desktop
  • Easy-to-build chatbots with deeper integration between Teams and Power Virtual Agents

Let’s look at how T-Mobile intends to use these great new features.

Connecting productivity with app development and the intelligence of Azure

Brian Hodel is a Senior Developer for Power Platform who helped spearhead T-Mobile’s Power Platform adoption. He was excited to hear about the launch of Dataverse which connects Teams to a powerful low code data platform with relational data storage, rich data types, enterprise grade governance, and one-click solution deployment. Dataverse enables everyone to easily build and deploy apps and intelligent chatbots in Teams with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents. Brian used Dataverse to create an Area Inspection app used for inspections in different parts of T-Mobile stores. Dataverse comes with templates for frequent use cases, such as Area Inspections, to accelerate app development. Brian and his team built off the Area Inspection template and made simple modifications to meet their needs and match T-Mobile branding (figure 1).

The Power Apps canvas inside Teams with the T-Mobile modified Area Inspection template.

T-Mobile also created an internal app called “Orbit,” using Power Apps and Common Data Service, for project planning and managing go-to-market activities. The Orbit app also required a custom connector for advanced search querying, so Brian used his pro-coding skills and wrote a custom API in Visual Studio Code and published it to Microsoft Azure API Management. With Azure API Management, you can create, design, test, and quickly publish APIs to Power Platform to enable easy discovery and consumption. Once exported as a custom connector to Power Platform, the APIs are accessible for anyone to use. In the case of “Orbit” and other apps, T-Mobile believes it’s important for pro developers to collaborate with citizen developers.

Take a few minutes and check out my demonstration to the Microsoft Mechanics team on how T-Mobile is using these new capabilities:

Another exciting announcement is that any Azure API Management backed connector can now surface inside Teams with no additional licensing costs. This feature is available for preview starting October 2020 and empowers a massive number of low code developers to take advantage of APIs and custom connectors built by professional developers. T-Mobile was able to use Azure API Management to surface the custom connector in Dataverse for use in their apps (figure 2).

Addressing modern challenges with Power Automate Desktop

T-Mobile found another impactful use for Power Platform stemming from its recent merger with Sprint. Integrating systems quickly is paramount to the success of many mergers. In the case of T-Mobile, they were looking for a solution which could easily automate data transfer between the Orbit app, which manages and catalogues T-Mobile’s internal initiatives, and the Sprint G2M web app which tracks project execution. The G2M app does not have an API, so T-Mobile was looking for a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution to integrate with the G2M system via its user interface. Power Automate was the perfect service for T-Mobile as it enables automation across the modern T-Mobile Orbit app and the older G2M Sprint app (figure 3).

The Power Automate Desktop UI showing recorded click-steps from the Sprint G2M legacy web app.

The new Power Automate Desktop enhances the RPA capabilities offered with Power Automate, combining the UI flows released earlier this year with the WinAutomation capabilities that we added through our acquisition of Softomotive. Power Automate Desktop includes a more intuitive recorder for Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome. Power Automate Desktop also expands desktop recording capabilities to include Citrix, SAP, Java, AS400, and a variety of other legacy applications on top of Win32.

With Power Automate Desktop, T-Mobile was able to create a process automation which updates the Sprint G2M app anytime a new initiative is created in the Orbit Power App. This remarkable automation is done using a few connectors and the new Power Automate Desktop RPA enabling automation across modern API-based apps and non-API based apps.

Enabling pro and citizen developers to create chatbots to enhance the way we work

T-Mobile is also creating chatbots using Power Virtual Agents to unlock a powerful new way to work and interact. Power Virtual Agents is now available as part of Dataverse, making chatbots accessible and easy to design for every user of Teams. As a result, T-Mobile was able to create a digital assistant chatbot entirely in Teams in the Power Virtual Agents canvas (figure 4). This bot helps users keep track of important meetings, pending approvals, and other daily tasks.

On the evening following Apple's iPhone 13 announcement, T-Mobile unveils its Forever Upgrade program. This means that anyone who purchases any new iPhone 13 model with or without a trade-in is [loosely] guaranteed [up to] an $800 trade-in credit every time you turn in that iPhone for a new one. This sounds enticing enough, but there are a few significant caveats.

T-Mobile's new 'Forever Upgrade' program for the iPhone 13 isn't really forever

To start, T-Mobile's trade-in promotion to trade up to an iPhone 13 gets you up to $1000 off a new iPhone. An iPhone 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 11 Pro, or 11 Pro Max gets you the full promotional amount. You can get $800 off if you trade in an iPhone 12, 12 mini, 11, X, XR, XS, XS Max, Samsung Galaaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, S20 FE, S21, S21+, Note10, Note20, Note20 Ultra, Z Flip 5G, Z Fold2, Moto razr 5G, OnePlus 8 5G, or 8T. Check the terms below for all the devices eligible.

Apple 13 and 13 mini official - smaller notch, A15 Bionic and new cameras with sensor shift

You'll need to be on an eligible Magenta Max or T-Mobile One Plus plan along with the trade-in to be eligible for the promo.

Now, on to the "Forever" Upgrade program. Although T-Mobile mentions the word "Forever" several times in the announcement post, the terms and conditions of the program mention "Program may end & is subject to change at any time." So "forever" isn't really forever.

T-Mobile's new 'Forever Upgrade' program for the iPhone 13 isn't really forever

Also, in order to be eligible for the program, you'll need to be on of the more recent Magenta MAX plans, which are more expensive than T-Mobile's previous ONE plans. T-Mobile promised it wouldn’t raise the prices of its customers plans as part of its merger with Sprint, but if customers upgrade to the Magenta MAX plan then they are signing up for a slightly higher rate. Of course, the Magenta MAX plans do offer more features and less restrictions than T-Mobile's previous ONE plans.

You'll receive up to $800 credit depending on which iPhone you get. If you get an iPhone 13 Pro, the credit will max out at $800 regardless of the phone's $999 retail price. Likewise, if you buy an iPhone 13 mini for $699, you'll only be eligible for the $699 credit when it's time to upgrade.

It's great that T-Mobile is offering trade-in deals and an opportunity for folks to save when upgrading their iPhones, but the terms of the program leads us to believe that this is more of an incentive for customers to update their plans. Although it's mentioned in the terms, we hope that T-Mobile doesn't pull the rug from under its customers on the Forever Upgrade program.

It’s always a good idea to do thorough research and ask your carrier representative the right questions before signing into a trade-in promotion or upgrade program like this. Make sure you know what you're getting into and whether the promotion is beneficial to your needs.

At one time, cell phone carriers charged hefty fees if you go over your pre-set data usage limit. These days, Unlimited Data plans are back and more popular than ever.

How To View Your T-Mobile Data Usage

Unfortunately, like every other cell phone carrier, reserves the right to throttle your data after a certain amount of usage. This means that it will be more difficult to surf the web, stream videos, and browse social media because your data speeds will be much slower. T-Mobile does state they only throttle data when you’re in a congested area (there are a lot of data users on one tower).

Thankfully, there are several techniques that T-Mobile users have at their disposal to do this.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

Before you start checking, there are a few things that you need to know about the figures that you see when using official T-Mobile tools.

Firstly, any data that you use while roaming can take about a month to show up. If you know that you’ve used roaming data at some point in the last 30 days, remember that the figure you see may not be accurate straight away.

There’s also an issue with the figures if you change your plan. Changing the plan on any day other than your billing cycle’s first day essentially resets the figure. You’ll only see what you’ve used on the current plan, so it’s best to carry out a quick check to record the figure for your previous plan before making a change.

T-Mobile displays its data usage figures in Pacific Time too, which those in other time zones need to keep in mind. It also refreshes every two hours.

Those who use T-Mobile’s prepaid service will not have the same options as we’ve listed below. T-Mobile does not provide data usage details for those on the prepaid service.

On the plus side, you’ll get a free text message alert when you hit the 80% and 100% mark of your data limits.

With that out of the way, let’s look at some of the techniques.

Technique #1 – Use a Short-Code

T-Mobile offers up two short-codes that you can call to get an instant update. Just dial either #932# or #WEB# and hit the “call” button.

You’ll receive an alert in a couple of minutes that gives you an up-to-date data usage number.

These short-codes work on both Android and Apple devices.

Technique #2 – Check Your T-Mobile Account on Desktop

Most people create a My T-Mobile account so they can keep track of their bills. However, you can also use it to check your data usage. Just follow these steps:

  1. Click the “Usage” option. You’ll find this in the “My Current Plan” section of your account if you’re on a prepaid account.
  2. Click the “View all usage details” link in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click the “Data” option to see your usage.

You can also filter through specific cell phone numbers if you have several phones that use T-Mobile data plans.

Technique #3 – Use the T-Mobile App

T-Mobile has an app that you can download on both Android and Apple devices. You can use it to keep track of billing and data usage.

To check data usage, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the app using your T-Mobile ID.
  2. Tap on the “Menu” icon then tap on “Usage and Plans”.
  3. Tap on “View Line Details” then tap on “Check Usage (Data).

The app tells you how much data you’ve used and how long you have to wait before your next billing cycle. You can also use the app to check your minutes and text usage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will T-Mobile alert me if I go over my data limit?

Yes! T-Mobile will send you an alert via either text or email when you’ve used 80% and 100% of your data allotment. If you do not receive these alerts you may need to log into the T-Mobile app and select your content preferences.

I got a text message that I used 50Gb of data on my unlimited plan. Why?

Although T-Mobile won’t charge you if you exceed your data limit, the company will throttle your data after you’ve used 50Gb. This means that you may experience issues loading websites, buffering, and even sending picture messages.

Does tethering use my mobile data allotment?

Yes. When you’re using your T-Mobile phone to provide internet for another device it will count toward your allotment. However, if you’re connected to another WiFi network, your T-Mobile data should be left untouched.

I got a usage alert but I’ve been on WiFi. What’s happening?

Today’s smartphones are designed to give you the most seamless experience possible. When a WiFi network is weak, your phone will automatically connect back to the cell phone towers to help you stream without interruption. Unfortunately, you may not even notice this switch has happened.

The Final Word

T-Mobile offers plenty of ways for you to check your data usage quickly. They also send free text messages when you’re nearing your limit.

As long as you’re vigilant, you shouldn’t end up exceeding your data limits. Just check regularly and keep in mind that the figure may be up to two hours out-of-date, which you need to account for.

T-Mobile Makes Google Messages the Default Android SMS App

Close up view of hands holding smartphone with Google Messages application open

Google Messages will now be included as the default SMS app on all Android phones sold by T-Mobile, the carrier recently announced. Now, T-Mobile’s Android customers can enjoy a richer messaging experience with all the benefits of Rich Communication Services (RCS) protocol messaging.

“This is a win for Android users and an even greater win for the Android ecosystem,” said Hiroshi Lockheimer, Senior VP of Platforms and Ecosystems at Google. “T-Mobile and Google have been working together to champion Android since the very beginning with the launch of the T-Mobile G1 in 2008. We’re taking what has already been a long and very successful relationship, and building on it to bring Android customers even more features and services.”

RCS is a delightful upgrade over SMS, and is a step Google has been working on taking with global carriers for over a year. Now, T-Mobile is the first carrier to take the step. The advanced messaging capabilities of RCS means users can enjoy functionality like read receipts, typing indicators, sharing reactions, chatting over Wi-Fi or data, sending and receiving higher-quality videos and photos, and more dynamic and engaging group chats on its 5G network.

T-Mobile made a few other Google-friendly announcements as well, like continuing to support and further roll out its beta for end-to-end encryption in Messages throughout 2021. The carrier is also set to start accelerating the promotion of Google’s Pixel phones and other Android smartphones by offering a wider selection. It’ll also highlight Google One as an easy way for users to safely and securely back up their mobile data when moving to a new phone.

The carrier also announced that YouTube TV will become T-Mobile’s new live TV solution as part of its TVision initiative (replacing T-Mobile’s Live, Live+, and Live Zone services, which will end on April 29). New TVision LIVE subscribers will get their first month of YouTube TV for free, then enjoy $10 off the regular price from there. Customers will also get three months of YouTube Premium on the house, which removes ads on the site and offers offline and background functionality. Current TVision customers have until June 30 to take advantage of this deal.

T-Mobile Jump Upgrade Program Not Always Worth the Cost

T-Mobile's Jump is an add-on that allows customers to upgrade their phones more often than every two years — for a monthly fee.

Is upgrading your phone early worth the extra cost? After doing the math, we’ve learned that it’s pretty much a wash.

How Jump works

To get Jump, sign up to pay the full price of your new phone in 24 equal monthly installments. Then sign up for the Jump program, which costs an additional $9 to $12 per month, depending on your phone. If you have a more expensive phone, like the iPhone 6S and Galaxy S7, the price will be in the higher end of the range.

Once you have Jump, you can swap your phone for an upgrade whenever you want and T-Mobile will cover up to 50% of your original phone’s retail price. That means you’ll want to upgrade every 12 months to take advantage of Jump and justify that extra monthly fee. You can upgrade earlier, but you’ll have to pay off the difference that T-Mobile doesn’t cover.

For example, you might buy a $240 phone and pay it off over 24 months at $10 per month, not including the Jump fee. After 12 months you’ll have paid $120, and T-Mobile will cover the other $120 if you decide to upgrade. If you want to upgrade after only nine months, you’ll have only paid $90 toward your phone. T-Mobile will still pay $120, but you’ll be on the hook for that extra $30 if you want to upgrade.

Jump also comes with T-Mobile’s cell phone insurance, called Premium Handset Protection, and its mobile security platform Lookout. These two services cost $12 a month if you don't have Jump, so their free inclusion is a perk — especially since you’re responsible for any damage to your phone while on the program.

Is Jump worth it?

Let’s take a look at one possible scenario: You want to buy an iPhone 6S and then upgrade to the iPhone 7 after a year. In that case, would it benefit you to sign up for Jump when you first get your phone?

Monthly installment price

Monthly price for T-Mobile Simple Choice 2GB plan

Total cost over 12 months

Now let's say you upgrade to the new iPhone 7. For the purposes of our experiment, we'll assume it debuts at the same retail price as the 6S.

If you have Jump, you turn in your iPhone 6S and get a new 7. If you don't, you sell your 6S online and buy a new 7 at full price. A quick eBay search shows used iPhone 6S prices between $400 and $500. Let’s say that drops to $350 after the 7 comes out.

$299.99 (after selling used iPhone 6S for $350)

Monthly installment price

Monthly price for T-Mobile Simple Choice 2GB plan

Total cost over 12 months

Our grand total cost over two years with Jump: $2,158.16. Without Jump, it's $2,169.98. The difference: $11.82.

So Jump doesn't make much difference — in terms of money, at least. Keep in mind that we’ve made several assumptions in this comparison: that the iPhone 7 will be the same retail price as the iPhone 6S, and that you can only get $350 for your used iPhone 6S. If the iPhone 7 debuts at a higher price or you can get more money for your used iPhone 6S, not using Jump gains a slight edge.

Is Jump right for you?

If money isn’t a factor in your decision, consider some other points. Jump gives you upgrade capabilities, cell phone insurance and mobile security for the same price you’d pay for the insurance and security package alone. If you tend to break your phone, that’s good value. And with Jump, you don’t have to find a buyer for your used phone. You just hand it in at the store and walk out with a new one.

The case to be made for T-Mobile’s upgrade program is slim, but it’s there nonetheless.

The new Power Automate Desktop enhances the RPA capabilities offered with Power Automate, combining the UI flows released earlier this year with the Larry h miller toyota capabilities that we added through our acquisition of Softomotive.

T-Mobile's 5G technology might be pretty good, but the carrier's approach to marketing it has been odd thus far. It recently teamed with Reese's to offer "Apartment 5G" trick-or-treating spots for Halloween. This new collaboration brings 5G to. toys? T-Mobile has announced a partnership with Hasbro to create the Lite‑Brite T‑Mobile Edition, a toy for the most ardent 5G fanatics out there.

The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are powered by Google Tensor, a customized version of Samsung's Exynos 2100 chip. They are also the first phones to launch in the US in quite a few years with a non-Qualcomm modem. Instead, they rely on Samsung's Exynos modem, which even the Korean smartphone giant has shied away from using in its US devices. That's td bank jobs login surprising since Exynos modems were found inferior to Qualcomm's offering in various tests over the years. An in-depth analysis and comparison of the Pixel 6 Pro's Exynos 5123b modem vs. the Galaxy S21 Ultra's Qualcomm X60 modem reveal that little has changed even now.

T-Mobile has recently been all about offering its customers cool perks, either physical ones through T-Mobile Tuesdays or virtual perks like free Apple TV+ or Netflix. The company will even pay off your phone if you're on another carrier. This new perk, though, might be especially interesting if you like watching free movies and TV series, as T-Mobile has announced it will be offering a whole year of Paramount+.

After months of rumors, leaks, and wild speculation, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro finally arrive on store shelves tomorrow. With glowing reviews for both phones, it's no wonder that plenty of users are excited to try out Google's new flagships. Unfortunately, not everyone will get that chance — even if they got their orders in on time last week.

As much as some of us may dread it, buying a phone through your carrier is often the easiest — and cheapest — method. Between special offers, monthly payments, and upgrade plans, picking your device out with a mobile network can be pretty enticing. Unlike its competitors, T-Mobile has kept its online and retail stores separate, but that's finally changing.

CDMA networks are a dying breed. With nearly all modern smartphones now supporting 5G — and the widespread adoption of 4G LTE — the need to keep older technologies around is dwindling. With some customers still stuck on a legacy network, it's not a process that can happen overnight. T-Mobile has been planning to shut down Sprint's CDMA network for a while now, but this date has been pushed back to assist those few remaining CDMA users.

T-Mobile has not shied away from offering aggressive deals in a bid to not only keep its current customers, but also grab other carriers' subscribers away. Recently, T-Mobile announced that its customers would be getting their own tier of Google One with 500GB of storage for an extra $5 — an attractive prospect, but maybe not enough to tempt you to jump ship? Its latest effort is a bit more direct, and the carrier says it'll help you make the switch from AT&T or Verizon by offering an interesting incentive — if you're currently still paying off a smartphone with those companies, T-Mobile will settle that bill for you so you can switch over.

Android has changed a lot in the past few years. Regular annual releases, some of them good and some of them not amazing, have helped the operating system greatly mature. Sometimes, though, it's good to look back and remember how things used to be when we were still at the beginning of this road. Today is one of those days, as on a day like this, 13 years ago, the very first commercial phone running Android made its public debut.

T-Mobile, could you just pick a set of dates and stick with it, please? A few weeks ago the company's internal documents said it would be shutting down its legacy UMTS 3G network on October 1st, as announced earlier this year. But in a new press release, that date has been moved back for the better part of a year: it's now going out on July 1st, 2022.

There can be plenty of hemming and academy sports store credit card when someone mulls over purchasing a device insurance plan from their carrier. Those plans' poor values have generally improved over time, though, with promotional rates for screen repairs and convenience factors like same-day or at-your-door service. Now, T-Mobile is looking to beef up its offerings by, among other improvements, allowing more claims than the competition.

A couple of weeks t mobile app update, T-Mobile upgraded its retail offensive by going official with its presence in 1,000 or so Best Buy locations. That push continues today with the announcement of T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile availability at Walmart's 2,300-odd stores as well as Walmart.com.

T-Mobile is in some hot water at the moment. Would discounted cloud storage distract you from the service's fourth major security breach in four years? No? Well, it's coming anyway, according to a recent leak — though you might have to wait just obx beach cart rentals bit longer to get it.

It seems like we can't go a week without hearing about another massive security breach at a mega-corporation. This week's shocker comes courtesy of T-Mobile, at least according to one self-reported hacker claiming to sell the company's customer data. T-Mobile says it's "investigating" the possible theft of data from over 100 million people. If true, it would be the fourth notable data breach from T-Mobile in the last four years.

T-Mobile has been working on expanding both its cellular and retail coverage to rural areas in the country. Some weighty events have helped spread its network out like the merger with Sprint and 5G deployment on 600MHz. As for the brick-and-mortar situation, it appears that the company will be standing on the shoulders of giants Best Buy and (eventually) Walmart.

The announcement's out. In the U.S., the Galaxy Z Flip3 is priced at $1,000 for the 128GB version and $1,050 for the 256GB version while the Fold3 with 256GB or 512GB of storage sits at $1,800 and $1,900. Both come up for pre-orders today and they'll ship from August 27. Now comes all of the ways to cut down that total and fill up your cart from your friendly neighborhood carrier, retailer, and/or Samsung itself.

Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event was just earlier today at 10AM ET, and although endless leaks undercut the anticipation a bit, there's still reason to be excited. We got our first official glimpse of the new Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, with plenty of improvements over last year's models. There was some concern that OnePlus would try to one-up Samsung with its own Galaxy-themed teaser, but it turns out that wasn't a problem, the company is just back to dumb and awful marketing, and you can go back to ignoring them.

Carriers and phone manufacturers might be talking about nothing but 5G lately, but when it comes to the infrastructure that keeps most of us online, day-in and day-out, the US still very much runs on LTE. While such 4G coverage is fantastically strong in many places, that's still far from the case everywhere, and it hasn't always been easy to get straight answers from the carriers about exactly what kind of reception you can expect, and where. Thankfully, the FCC has just taken a big step towards fixing that, publishing its first standardized nationwide map of 4G coverage.

In its bid to keep on the forefront of the 5G race in the United States, T-Mobile hasn't made its plans to kill off its and Sprint's 3G networks exactly loud and clear, but we had a good idea of when the ball would start rolling and when it would finish. Well, that was until the plans apparently changed, before shifting again just a few months later.

Opensignal is an analytics company that uses aggregated data from smartphones to generate reports on carrier performance. For the July t mobile app update of its US metrics, in both its overall mobile experience and 5G-specific reports, T-Mobile edged out its competition in the "big three" US carriers. It seems the acquisition of Sprint has truly leveled the playing field, as no carrier between AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile was able to make a clean sweep of either report.

Every carrier offers its own branded devices, usually aiming to lure customers in with low prices. T-Mobile has had its REVVL series for a few years now, selling phones made by Motorola or TCL but with its own logo on the back. The REVVL V+ 5G is its latest release, and if you've been looking to find an affordable 5G-friendly smartphone, this might be the one for you. There are two things you'll notice about this device right away: it's big, and it's cheap. With a 6.82" HD+ display, this is a giant phone. Just look at the hands-on video T-Mobile published below — it looks comically big, with a size increase over last year's already massive REVVL 5G (careful not to mix them up). The carrier plans to sell it for just under $200, with specs to match: a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

We’re taking what has already been a long and very successful relationship, and building on it to t mobile app update Android customers even more features and services.”

T mobile app update the terms below for all the devices eligible.

T-Mobile adds Apple Pay to its website and iOS app, including 3% cash back for Apple Card

T-Mobile has updated its iOS app and website this week to add support for Apple Pay. This means that you can now make purchases and pay your bill using Apple Pay — and secure 3% Apple Card cash back in the process.

Apple Pay can be used for one-time payments in the T-Mobile app and website. There’s also support for using Apple Pay as your auto-bill payment method as well. While there was initially some doubt as to whether autopay was supported, 9to5Mac readers have confirmed that it is.

To setup Apple Pay in the T-Mobile app, simply navigate to the “Bill” interface then look for the Apple Pay option. You’ll then authenticate like you would for any other Apple Pay purchase — with Face ID or Touch ID — and you’re good to go.

T-Mobile was announced as a 3% Daily Cash retailer for Apple Card back in September, but unfortunately it was limited to in-store purchases only. This meant that you could use Apple Card for 3% cash back at a T-Mobile store, whether it be for one-time bill payments or hardware purchases.

With this update to the T-Mobile app and website, however, all Apple Card transactions with Apple Pay now earn 3% cash back.

Apple Card cash back is delivered daily through what Apple calls “Daily Cash.” At the end of every day, you’ll receive an Apple Cash credit for your rewards for the day. You can either spend this money using Apple Cash, apply it toward your Apple Card bill, or transfer it to your bank.

The T-Mobile app for iPhone is available on the App Store as a free download.

Thanks, Preetham!

  2. Tap on the “Menu” icon then tap on “Usage and Plans&rdquo.

If you do not receive t mobile app update alerts you may need to log into the T-Mobile app and select your content preferences.
