  2. Without pre kit

The first-time login process using Pre kit involves following steps.

To use your internet banking service, you have to activate internet banking service online by registering for third party fund transfer. The predicate provided login ID and password only for the login purpose you can view your account balance but you cannot do any transfer and other banking activities to do this you have to register first.

You can activate your internet banking online in simple steps.

Step 1

Visit the official website HDFC bank and click on ‘log in’ and next click on ‘continue’ to the login tab.

Next select internet banking and click on log in.

Then a new page will open. Click on ‘Continue’ net banking & you will be on Log in page.

Enter the login ID and password you received with welcome kit. Login ID is basically your customer id you can find it on your bank passbook.

After you successfully login in into your account you will have to set a new password. The password you got in kit is for temporary use purpose so you have to change it when you login for first time. Enter the old password in first box after that create a new password enter. Confirm the new password by retyping it into the box click on terms and condition checkbox and confirm. Password will be successfully changed and you can login into your account with this new password or IPIN.

Step 3:

Go to the login page and enter your login ID and password and log in. Now to activate internet banking facility for fund transfer and other operations you have to register for third party transfer.

Click on fund and you will see a message saying that you are not registered to the third-party transfer. So, click on register now tab.

After you click on register now the terms and condition page will open read all the terms and conditions. Now checkbox for terms and condition and click on ‘Confirm’.

Step 4:

Next page you will see ATM card number, click on ATM number and options to enter your ATM PIN and card expiry date will open. Enter your ATM PIN and expiry date of card and click on confirm.

Step 5:

After that a new option REGISTER NOW will be displayed. Click on ‘Register Now’.

Mark the checkbox for mobile number and click on continue. An OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Continue’.

Step 6:

Hereafter the process will be completed in 3 steps. To proceed click on ‘Continue’.

In the First step you have to select a profile image. You can add a message below it. Enter the message below the image. Which you wanted to display at the time of login process this profile image is used for verification purpose only at the time of login. Set the image and click on proceed to step 2.

In this step some security questions need to be set. you will be provided    with 5 security questions select equation as per your choice you can change the question if you want. Now select answer for each question and remember these answers. After that click on proceed to step 3

Step 3 is basically the verification state where all the data you entered in step 1 escape 2 will be shown. You have to confirm all the data and if you want to change or correct anything you can do in this day.

    Find the Itunes.exe in the Itunes folder in Program Files.  Right click on the .exe / Properties / compatibility, look down at the bottom of this page for the 'privilege level' and check the box that says "change settings for all users.  In the heartbeat window according to the box that says "run this program as an administrator".  This can only solve your problem if you can both run under the same user name.

    When you run a program as an administrator you should get a quick UAC (unless maybe you have turned off UAC?

    Irate customers took to Twitter to express their displeasure at the non-working of HDFC Bank net banking facility. From customer tweets, it is understood that the netbanking facility has been down for a few days. Even the mobile app is not functional, adding to customers woes.

    Customers who avail of netbanking facility to pay bills, credit card payments and fund transfers complained of the inconvenience faced.

    When HDFC Bank was contacted, the spokesperson said he was unaware about the glitch and would 'revert soon'.

    Author and banker Ravi Subramanian asked about it on Twitter:

    Customers who use credit cards expressed alarm as they cannot pay their outstanding dues. Some who have paid were unable to know the payment status.

    The credit card interest rates can vary from 18 percent to 36 percent per annum, subject to the card provider’s policy and the applicant’s profile.

    Credit cards account for 30 percent of the credit report of an individual. The score deteriorates fast with any kind of failure to repay the credit bill. This will impact the creditworthiness of the individual, making her ineligible for any loan or card in the near future. The interest on the outstanding amount is calculated for each day of delay. Since the credit card interest rates are usually on the higher side, this can cause the outstanding amount to pile up massively. When customers choose to pay interest by delaying the payment of credit bill, they have to pay a much higher price.

    Some customers mentioned that two-factor authentication is also not working.

    Irate customers took to Twitter to express their displeasure at the non-working of HDFC Bank net banking facility. From customer tweets, it is understood that the netbanking facility has been down for a few days. Even the mobile app is not functional, adding to customers woes.

    Customers who avail of netbanking facility to pay bills, credit card payments and fund transfers complained of the inconvenience faced.

    When HDFC Bank was contacted, the spokesperson said he was unaware about the glitch and would 'revert soon'.

    Author and banker Ravi Subramanian asked about it on Twitter:

    Customers who use credit cards expressed alarm as they cannot pay their outstanding dues. Some who have paid were unable to know the payment status.

    The credit card interest rates can vary from 18 percent to 36 percent per annum, subject to the card provider’s policy and the applicant’s profile.

    Credit cards account for 30 percent of the credit report of an individual. The score deteriorates fast with any kind of failure to repay the credit bill. This will impact the creditworthiness of the individual, making her ineligible for any loan or card in the near future. The interest on the outstanding amount is calculated for each day of delay. Since the credit card interest rates are usually on the higher side, this can cause the outstanding amount to pile up massively. When customers choose to pay interest by delaying the payment of credit bill, they have to pay a much higher price.

    Some customers mentioned that two-factor authentication is also not working.
